Support
Help us make this sustainable.
ROTP's summer gatherings are free to attend. They cost real money to produce. Here's how you can help.
Give
Two ways to give. Both matter.
We're an LLC with a nonprofit wing (fiscal sponsor). Here's what that means for you - and for us.
Tax-Deductible
Support Programming
Donations to ROTP's programming are processed through our fiscal sponsor, Shunpike - a Seattle-based 501(c)(3) arts service organization. These donations are tax-deductible and support our community programming directly.
How it works: Your donation goes to Shunpike, who reimburses the funds to ROTP. Shunpike retains 7% as a fiscal sponsorship fee. You receive a tax receipt from Shunpike. ROTP receives 93% of your gift.
Donate via Shunpike → General Support
Support Operations
Contributions to ROTP LLC go directly to the organization with no intermediary. These contributions are not tax-deductible - but 100% of your gift stays with us and supports operations, growth, and sustainability.
How it works: We have a Ko-fi page where you can set your gift. This allows us to recoup costs and use funds flexibly to support our operations and growth.
Give Directly On our structure: Rhythm of The People operates through two entities. We have our for-profit base - handling operations, programming, and artist compensation. And then our nonprofit wing, which is fiscally sponsored by Shunpike, a Seattle-based 501(c)(3) arts service organization. Our fiscal sponsor allows us to receive tax-deductible contributions to support our free + sliding scale community programming.
