What This Is
Not a class. Not a party. A gathering.
Hustle on the Pier is a series of free social dance gatherings on Seattle's waterfront.
We think people need more reasons to spend time together.
So stop by and hang out - you might just end up dancing.

Each Gathering
How the evening flows.
This is how we'll spend the time. We hope to see you there!
Hustle Workshop
Beginner-friendly instruction in Hustle - footwork, timing, partner connection. Along with the steps, you'll learn a little about where this dance comes from and the people who shaped it. No experience or partner needed. All levels welcome.
Open Social Floor
The floor opens. The DJ takes over. Practice what you learned, dance with someone new, stay for a song or more. No pressure. Just move and see what happens!

Questions
What people ask.
Do I need experience?
No. The workshop is designed for beginners. If you've never danced before in your life, you're exactly who we're building this for.
Do I need a partner?
No. Come alone. We rotate partners during the workshop so everyone practices with different people. That's part of the point.
Is it really free?
Yes. These gatherings are free and open to all. If you want to support the work, there are ways to do that - but showing up is enough.
Do I need to RSVP?
RSVPing helps us plan. Walk-ins are always welcome. Sign up on Partiful to get reminders and updates for each date.
What should I wear?
Anything you can move in. Comfortable shoes help. Layers for the evening - Seattle waterfront can get breezy after sunset.
Can I bring kids?
Yes. These are public, family-friendly gatherings. Kids are welcome on the floor.
